Four years ago, when I first opened, a bit scared I confess, the doors of Secret Café and started the wonderful adventure of running my own business at Saint Stephens Church, I would have never imagined that one day this story was going to end with a trip back home".
As many of you already know this is my last week running the cafe, but no worries it won't be shut down, it will carry on on good hands with a quite similar menu.
I made so many memories during my time at Secret Café. I had good and hard times; some days were sweeter than others. I got frustrated at times but also through hard work and a never-ending process of trial-and-error, I built-up self-confidence and awareness of my own abilities. Looking back to those days, for sure I can see myself a bit older but also reborn because I believe one of life's greatest rewards is to watch something you've made grow and flourish. It Is impossible to explain the gratitude I feel, but *thank you* to everyone who helped & supported getting the business off the ground & then all along the way.Special thanks to Saint Stephen's Church people, through their generosity gestures, day by day, they all have planted the seed of love for this place.
And to each & everyone of you who came to say "Hola/Hi", to try our menu and give me a smile or a nice compliment about the food, that meant the world to me.
Wherever I will be from now, I will miss the wonderfull people and for sure, Secret cafe's nice memories will remain alive.
