This year, I’ve been booking in so many Friday weddings, it really seems to have become such a popular day to say “I do” 💍

And honestly, I can completely see why.

A Friday wedding can mean a longer weekend, more time to recover, more choice of dates and often a more affordable option too.

We’re not a traditional wedding venue as such… but we definitely know how to host a wedding.

From relaxed celebrations to full-on parties, we love helping couples create a day that feels completely their own.

The front door is FINALLY painted! 🎨🚪

Who buys a front door with no glass in it? Me.
Who gets it fitted before painting it? Also me.
Who then leaves it sitting unfinished for weeks because she never has enough time? Yep… me again. 🙋‍♀️

But on Friday, I finally tackled it and painted FOUR coats in one day!

“How did you manage four coats?” I hear you ask…

With a brilliant little contraption created by my amazing husband, Phil. It turns out beer barrels are useful for all sorts of things! 😂🍺

The front of the pub is now officially finished, the door looks wonderful, and I am one very happy lady to finally tick this job off the list.

Our marquee has to be one of the best-value party venues in Bristol. We’ve hosted everything from weddings and birthday parties to wakes, sporting events and family celebrations.

With a Bluetooth speaker, 65-inch TV screen and disco ball all available, it’s an easy, flexible space that you can make completely your own.

✨ No minimum spend
✨ Just £50 to hire
✨ Choose from 12pm–5pm or 5.30pm–11pm

The hire fee will increase to £60 next year — but we still think that’s an absolute bargain!

Mums* in the Marquee ✨

Now the weather has cooled down a little and you’re ready to venture out of the house with your little ones, why not join us this Thursday (and every Thursday and Friday) from 12pm–5pm in our marquee?

The play mat will be out, the toys will be there, and we all know the golden rule: when the kids are happy and occupied, life is a whole lot easier. ❤️

So come and enjoy a proper coffee, a glass of something stronger if the week calls for it, and some decent pub food while the little ones play.

No play café fees. No booking charges. Just a relaxed space for everyone to enjoy.
