Our game and lamb when in season, are sourced from Barwhillanty Estate, a hidden gem in Southwest Scotland owned by the Thwaites family since 1884.

Renowned for its beautiful escapes and exceptional produce, Barwhillanty Estate prioritises sustainability and animal welfare. Employing an integrated approach to land management, the estate balances profitability with environmental impact through holistic decision-making in forestry, farming, and game management.

The estate’s diverse landscape supports a variety of wildlife, including a beautiful flock of sheep and a majestic herd of red deer, which graze on energy-rich fodder, and game birds that thrive in varied habitats.
