Do you want to work in one of the best fish & chips shops in Bristol? Jolly Fryer is looking for a counter server to work with our friendly team in Filton, Bristol.

Jolly Fryer is an ambitious business who takes fish & chips seriously and our priority is to find the right person to fit in with our team. If you have some experience, we are interested in hearing from you. Bring a CV in with you if you are interested.

Duties include:
-Giving excellent customer service
-Taking, orders, handling payment and managing tills
-Wrapping and bagging food
-Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and following rules of health and safety

To everyone who supports their local takeaway on the quiet nights… this is for you.

Most people only ever see the busy Fridays and Saturdays.

What they don’t see are the rainy Tuesdays…
the dead Wednesdays…
the nights where the phone barely rings and the shop feels a bit too quiet.

And then you walk in.
Or you place that little order.
Or you choose your local instead of hitting a delivery app.

You probably don’t realise it, but those “small” orders on the quiet days keep a lot of family businesses going – not just with the bills, but in their heads and hearts too.

So on behalf of all the small takeaways out there:

💚 Thank you for supporting your local on the quiet nights.
💚 Thank you for choosing real people over faceless brands.

Most owners will never say this out loud because they’re too busy grafting…
