The Golden Lion is situated in the pretty village of Wrington, but not too far away from the city of Bristol and the seaside town of Weston super Mare. You are guaranteed a warm welcome from Sam and Margaret At the Golden Lion you’ll find a wide selection of top quality beers, lagers and not to mention a variety of wines and ciders – so there’s something to suit every palette. We have a strong and

diverse adult local trade, with ages ranging from 18-96! Some of our most popular events are the annual beer festival, the summer pig roast and regular screenings of football/rugby matches from Sky and BT Sports. We are one of the few pubs left that haven’t entered the food market and have a great reputation as to the quality of our cellar. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, traditional establishment where you can be sure of getting a good pint by a real log fire and a warm friendly welcome. The village dates back to Roman times and there is strong evidence of Saxon occupation.
