Round Hill Roastery

Round Hill Roastery Specialty Coffee Roasters At Round Hill we respect our coffee’s journey from farm to cup. We test-roast each coffee and allow it to rest.

Our coffee arrives as green beans – the farmer’s finished product – and we are careful to preserve and compliment the hard work already put in to each bean. It is then brewed in a variety of ways to ensure maximum flavour and quality. Origin, variety and process are all key factors in determining each coffee’s individual roast profile – with taste the central focus of everything we do. We focus on each coffee’s unique character and roast to highlight its dynamic flavours and sweetness.

Sironko from Uganda 🇺🇬 🍉🍒🍓

//
This coffee is a unique microlot sourced from farming communities across the district of Sironko, along the fertile foothills of Mount Elgon at 1800-2000 masl in eastern Uganda.

Smallholders deliver their harvest to The Coffee Yard, a large drying facility established by producer Norman Mukuru. With nearly 2 decades of experience in the coffee sector, Norman founded The Coffee Yard to showcase coffees from across the region and refine post-harvest handling at scale.

Since 2018, he has focused exclusively on developing natural processing methods, continuously refining drying techniques to achieve cleaner and more expressive cup profiles. Enjoy!

Burtukaana Chelbesa from Ethiopia! 🇪🇹 🫐 🍓🍦

//
Situated at 2100 masl, the Chelbesa washing station is found in the Yirgacheffe region of central southern Ethiopia. Yirgacheffe translates as ‘the land of many springs’, and Chelbesa is surrounded by 1240 hectares of semi-forest smallholder farms with red‑brown fertile soils and dense vegetation. The area’s unique combination of topography, altitude and water sources, matched with traditional growing and processing practices, produce coffees with beautifully bright, elegant flavour profiles.

//
What began as a new adventure has since become a model of sustainable coffee farming, and today Fazenda Trapiá covers 440 hectares, with 70 hectares dedicated to coffee and more than 30% preserved as native forest.

The farm is home to natural springs, waterfalls, and around 40,000 Candeia trees, which are carefully managed and replanted each year.

Fazenda Trapia is a shining example of combining passion and purpose; through their sustainable practices, the pair are achieving award-winning quality.
