Round Hill Roastery

Round Hill Roastery Specialty Coffee Roasters At Round Hill we respect our coffee’s journey from farm to cup. We test-roast each coffee and allow it to rest.

Our coffee arrives as green beans – the farmer’s finished product – and we are careful to preserve and compliment the hard work already put in to each bean. It is then brewed in a variety of ways to ensure maximum flavour and quality. Origin, variety and process are all key factors in determining each coffee’s individual roast profile – with taste the central focus of everything we do. We focus on each coffee’s unique character and roast to highlight its dynamic flavours and sweetness.

Dhilgee Siko from Ethiopia 🇪🇹 🥭🫖🍑

//
The Siko Washing Station was founded in 2017, and sits at 2100-2250 masl in the Siko village of Uraga, Guji.

Around 500 neighbouring producers contributed to this lot, with farms ranging from just 0.5 to 2 hectares. The fertile red soils and consistent sunlight found at these high altitudes, combined with the farmers’ skill and expertise, create exceptional conditions for growing coffee.

The Guji region is celebrated worldwide for its high-scoring, characterful cup profiles, often defined by expressive fruit and delicate floral notes. We are LOVING it!!!

Sironko from Uganda 🇺🇬 🍉🍒🍓

//
This coffee is a unique microlot sourced from farming communities across the district of Sironko, along the fertile foothills of Mount Elgon at 1800-2000 masl in eastern Uganda.

Smallholders deliver their harvest to The Coffee Yard, a large drying facility established by producer Norman Mukuru. With nearly 2 decades of experience in the coffee sector, Norman founded The Coffee Yard to showcase coffees from across the region and refine post-harvest handling at scale.

Since 2018, he has focused exclusively on developing natural processing methods, continuously refining drying techniques to achieve cleaner and more expressive cup profiles. Enjoy!

Burtukaana Chelbesa from Ethiopia! 🇪🇹 🫐 🍓🍦

//
Situated at 2100 masl, the Chelbesa washing station is found in the Yirgacheffe region of central southern Ethiopia. Yirgacheffe translates as ‘the land of many springs’, and Chelbesa is surrounded by 1240 hectares of semi-forest smallholder farms with red‑brown fertile soils and dense vegetation. The area’s unique combination of topography, altitude and water sources, matched with traditional growing and processing practices, produce coffees with beautifully bright, elegant flavour profiles.
