***TEAROOM NEWS***
Hello you lovely lot, I have some tearoom news to share... after 4.5 amazing, inspiring years, the tearoom is closing and this Saturday 26th January will be the last day of trading.
I have written this post repeatedly in my head recently but the only really important thing to say is thank you. The past 4.5 years have provided more joy and rich life lessons than I could have ever hoped and imagined and none of it would have been possible without your continued support. So, for all the salted caramel brownies you have devoured, for all the cream teas you have loved, for all the celebrations you have shared here, for all the Afternoon Teas you have ooh-and-aah'd at, for all the savoury scones you have enthused at, the toasties you have returned for, never mind the hugs, laughs, stories, very cute babies and so much more besides..... THANK YOU!
Closing the tearoom has been a huge decision to make but I am leaving feeling so privileged to have owned a business on this exciting, inspiring and community-minded street, surrounded by so many awesome and supportive independent businesses and residents. Getting to know so many of you and your families has undoubtedly been a highlight of this whole experience.
To everyone who has been a part of and supported the tearoom in all the ways, thank you, thank you, thank you! And hope to see some of you in person for the end of the show on Saturday!
