Some lunches require a knife and fork.
Others require both hands and absolutely no dignity whatsoever.

Our Hot Club Bap is definitely in the second category.

Hot chicken breast, bacon, melted Swiss cheese and garlic mayo, served with fries.

It's big, it's properly satisfying and it's probably not first-date food... although given what we've discovered about Hamptons romances recently, perhaps we shouldn't rule anything out. 😄

Can we have a little appreciation for the humble quiche please? 😄
Because a proper homemade quiche is anything but boring.

It's been a Hamptons favourite for years, our Quiche of the Day changes regularly, and served with salad, it's one of those lunches that just... works.

Not too much. Not too little. And considerably more exciting than whatever you were going to grab from the fridge at home. 😂

Has anyone else noticed that first cup of coffee in the morning is starting to feel a little more important? ☕️😂
We're not declaring summer over just yet...Jerry is still in a T-shirt!

But there's something rather lovely about walking into The Hamptons when there's a bit of a chill outside and wrapping your hands around a proper hot coffee.

And because ours comes from the brilliant Extract Coffee Roasters in Bristol, it tastes pretty good too.
So here's today's very simple question:

There's definitely a little chill in the air first thing now...
And suddenly something warm and comforting for lunch sounds rather appealing. 🍂

The ones where nobody needs to rush.

Where the coffee can turn into another coffee and breakfast doesn't come out of a toaster while you're trying to find your keys.

Whether you're a Full English person, fancy Eggs Benedict, Eggs Royale, Eggs Florentine or you're firmly in the Eggs Avocado camp, we'll do the cooking.

September's here, the schools are back and some sort of normal routine has returned! 😄

Which means it might also be time to reclaim the leisurely lunch.

No packed lunches. No eating something standing at the kitchen counter. No wondering what everyone else wants.
