It's only by experimenting that we are able to explore, move forwards and develop. Samples are a great way of keeping track of what works, and what doesn't. I have a box of them as well as a catalogue of firing schedules. I often have to refer back to see how I created a particular mark or pattern. It's like a giant glass sketchbook!

How gorgeous are these m**f tops!?
I couldn't help taking some photos of them basking in the recent sunshine. I've been slowly working my way through some of curved offcuts from the top of his hand blown cylinders and slumping them flat.
They are utterly divine, and the colours are so intense.
Now... what shall I make?!
