We are delighted to have received a grant from The Lord Forte Foundation which was founded in 1987 by the late Charles Forte, Baron Forte of Ripley, and has been supporting the wider hospitality industry ever since.

The purpose of the charity is to encourage excellence within the fields of hospitality, encompassing the hotel, catering and tourism industries within the UK.

The Foundation achieves its objectives by making awards to both individuals requiring help with their studies, and education establishments which provide training courses or carry out research or other projects relating to the hospitality industry.

Thank you Lorde Forte Foundation once again for your belief in our mission and for making this opportunity possible. We are truly grateful and excited to continue our important work.

Meet the Team – Dennis ☕

“My whole life had been in and out of prison.”

Dennis heard about The Key Café and came in asking for a chance to work, after never really having job opportunities or a “sense of purpose “before.

Since joining the café, Dennis says:
“I am growing day by day, learning new things, changing my way of thinking and meeting people.”

Dennis is now making sandwiches and cakes, working on the till, and developing his confidence and people skills every day through meeting and speaking with customers.

At The Key Café, we believe everyone deserves a second chance, support, and opportunities to grow. We’re proud to have Dennis as part of the team. 🌱
