Iceland 2026 🇮🇸
Dan Rosser travelled to Iceland last week and joined a fantastic, likeminded group of National Fish & Chip Awards winners and runners-up on a trip of a lifetime with .
The group were welcomed like family to the remote and rugged Westfjords, where they were immersed in the fishing culture, heritage and daily life of the local communities. It was amazing to meet the people so passionate about their craft, learn about new technologies with fish skin and leather and experience the best of Icelandic hospitality.

9. Transforming waste salmon skin into valuable leather at Nordic Fish Leather in Tálknafjörður
10. A soak in Pollurinn hot spring, a communal place for the locals to bathe after work
11. A tour around Patreksfjörður’s fishing town, starting at the church
12. A lovely lunch stop for lamb stew at Brjánslæker
13-14. A vessel visit at Gunnvör in Isafjörður
15. Puffin spotting at the most westerly point in Iceland, Làtrabjarg in the Westfjords
