Meet our owner, Kit! ✌️

This smiley chappy is the founder of Lost Horizon Coffee.
He is a science-minded engineer who fell in love with the art of coffee roasting many moons ago, his immense passion for great flavour and obsession with detail, making a uniquely perfect storm for crafting top calibre coffee.
If you’re in the cafe you’ll likely see him bopping about, hard at work on the roaster with headphones on, whistling like a songbird along to anything from System of A Down to Lee Scratch Perry. 🎧

You may also see him zipping around Bristol on his bicycle with an immense amount of letterbox-friendly coffee bags for our local subscription and website customers.
During his rounds he totals around 100 kilometres(!!) per week, so he tells me, as though it’s nothing. So sign up to our subscription service to give him a real challenge, especially if you live at the top of a very big hill 😄 🚴⚡️✨

Double drop, something to be excited about this week for sure yeh?

1. Luz Helena Salazar grew this Pink Bourbon in Colombia and it tastes like chocolate cake, raspberry and rooibos.. Uh-huh hunni.. Super clean and vibrant.

2. Elegant natural from Myanmar.. Myin Kya Doe is all sweet like cooked blackberries, lychee and vanilla.

Tucked away, in and amongst the cultural quarter of Stokes Croft, dripping in ever changing murals and tags, if you look under an old church, you'll find Lost Horizon Coffee.

A little slice of paradise, with some of the tastiest coffee in town, roasted here on site. There is always an array of single origin beans, brewed into flat whites, pour overs, and iced drinks to suit all needs and weathers 😎

🇨🇴 Adaiber Pena, from Colombia showcases an exciting and rare varietal know as San Bernardo.
Expect a delightful florality, fruit forward sweetness and zippy acidity.

🇨🇳 Banka, China brings with it sweet and boozy, fruity tones and a full texture! Its got loads of nuance and interesting complexity.
