We had to wait a little for the sun to break out, but our Bank Holiday Garden party 2026 is in full swing and sun shining

It’s International burger day, and we intend to celebrate that at the George, so today we have to specials from Head Chef Mike -

Along side the rest of pizza night tonight, we are offering a -

*Burger pizza:* mozzarella, tomato base, beef meatballs, sun-dried Tomatoes, gherkins, pickled red onions, bacon, yellow mustard & a side of garlic aioli!🍕

A *BBQ beef shin burger* - 6oz beef burger, slow braised bbq beef shin, garlic aioli, streaky bacon, American style cheese, beer onions, gherkins, yellow mustard, beef tomato, frilly lettuce, fries - and sweet potato fries with truffle salt can be swapped in for a £2 upgrade!!🍔🍔

Wednesday 26th August is Lobster Night at The George

We are doing a bookings-only event with fresh lobsters sourced that morning from Poole ⁩

We have 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30 and 8:00pm slots, please contact the pub to reserve your table.

As we will be sourcing the lobsters that morning, we will require a pre-order and £10pp deposit, so please have these ready when booking in person or over the phone.
