🦁 RIGHT… LET’S PUT A FEW RUMOURS TO BED! 😂
After a fair bit of talking, planning and probably a few too many coffees… we can finally officially announce that we have taken over The Old Lion in Harborough Magna! 🎉🍻
The Old Lion will now become a sister site to The White Lion, and we’re incredibly excited about this next chapter.
BUT… before the rumour mill gets completely out of control… 😂
NO, WE ARE NOT LEAVING THE WHITE LION!
We’ve heard a few whispers going around, so we thought we’d clear things up once and for all.
We’ve had 5½ fantastic years at The White Lion, and we’re absolutely not going anywhere! ❤️
The White Lion will continue to be exactly what you know and love:
🍺 Good b**r
🍔 Good food
🎶 A great atmosphere
😃 Good people
🦁 And, of course, the same team you know!
We are NOT closing.
Our opening hours are NOT changing.
And no, we haven’t suddenly disappeared off to Harborough Magna! 😂
In fact, we’re also really pleased to say that we are currently in discussions with Admiral Taverns about extending our contract at the White Lion for another 5 years.
You may have already noticed that we’ve started giving the White Lion a little mini makeover, and there’s plenty more to come, with a much bigger refurbishment planned for January. 🛠️🍻
So, in short…
Two Lions. One team. Twice the fun! 🦁🦁
We’re incredibly grateful for all the support you’ve given us over the last 5½ years, and we’re really excited about what’s ahead.
We look forward to welcoming you all at both The White Lion, Brinklow and The Old Lion, Harborough Magna.
And remember… if you hear another rumour, just ask us! 😂
