Pork & Peach Salad 🥗

Combining crispy sliced pork belly with juicy fresh peaches for this summer time salad, perfect during this heatwave we are having.

This salad combines crispy pork, fresh peaches, prosciutto ham, feta, toasted walnuts, balsamic glaze and rocket salad.

Whilst we won't be open until September, we are already planning dishes for next summer.

📍THE EGREMONT

It is the with tremendous excitement that we can finally announce the location of our new home.

On Wednesday 2nd September 2026, we will open for our first night at The Egremont, Worthing, UK.

We are eternally thankful to the Egremont for providing this opportunity to us and we extremely driven to make this a resounding success for both The Woolly Pig and The Egremont.

Our opening hours at the Egremont will be as follows:

Wednesday - 16:00 till 21:30
Thursday - 16:00 till 21:30
Friday - 16:00 till 21:30
Saturday - 12:00 till 21:30
Sunday - 12:00 till 16:00

Wednesday thru Saturday we will be offering globally inspired pub-friendly small and large plates. We will have a rolling menu structure, where every month we will change a couple of the dishes to continuously offer variety, keeping the menu interesting for all of our future guests.

On Sundays, we will be offering gourmet traditional Sunday roasts were will be keeping the menu consistent, focusing on always delivering the highest quality roasts with value for money.

Throughout our time at The Egremont, we will be running additional specials and themed evenings. For example, on Wednesdays and Thursdays we will offering Pizza al Taglio until sold out. Whilst there are multiple events we want to offer, some of our themed nights will be a Cote de Beouf steak night with all the over top sides, perfect for sharing with friends. Also we will be running a single cusine focused tasting menu nights. For example, a Mexican tasting menu, where we will provide a multiple course dinner all focused on authentic mexican dishes.

We will be finalising our Chritmas menu this week, which we will be announcing by the end of next week, at the latest. Also, in a couple of weeks, you will be able to start booking tables for every day of the week online.

CRAB TOSTADA 🦀🇲🇽

Another classic of Mexican food that you do not really get here in the UK.

A tostada is a flat corn tortilla that has been deep fried, or can be baked. After we have deep fried our homemade tortilla, we topped ours with a crab & mayo salad, a lime & avocado puree, pickled apple and homemade tomato powder.

A lovely snack that we will be putting on when we do a Mexican themed night.

We have been keeping something under wraps, and it is nearly time to share it with you. Behind the scenes, we have been working on a huge next step for our business - one that means so much to us and that we cannot wait to reveal.

This is more than just an announcement. It is a milestone, a new chapter, and something we are so proud to finally bring to life. Thank you so much for following and supporting us so far we are so excited for what comes next.

SOPE 🇲🇽 SOPE 🇲🇽 SOPE 🇲🇽

This unknown classic of Mexican cusine in the UK, sope, pronounced soh-peh, is one of my the many dishes that us fall in love with real Mexican food!

They are made from a thick masa (corn) base that is then deep fried.

Ours are topped with pork belly al pastor, salsa roja, charred pineapple, fresh onion, corriander, jalapeños and chicharrones.

This will be a future small plate we will be putting on!
