One of our favourite regulars shared this image with us yesterday and we’ve all been in love ever since. Taken from The James Gray Collection and dated 1898 you can see The Joker standing pretty. Hell of a lot of memories made since then & hopefully many more to come 🃏

“View from the south, looking along London Road to the Circus. At this period, shortly before its demolition, R Fry & Co., the Mineral Water Manufacturers occupied the building. Beaconsfield Villas was then completely hidden from view by the protruding building. The end houses in London Road were all private houses with gardens and trees in front of them”.

We’d been meaning to post these for a while! This was wedding 2 of 3 that week, and all out country themed wedding. We love seeing the variations of themes that people put into their celebrations & how different elements make the Cocktail Lounge come to life 🫶

Feeling incredibly blessed to have hosted two, truly stunning wedding celebrations this week 🫶 A lot of time, care & effort goes into the planning & delivery and witnessing the joyful celebrations on the evening makes it’s all worth it.

Not quite the big team photo we were hoping for but pretty much the only 30 seconds we had to be together over the weekend.

Incredible week & another incredible pride weekend. Huge love to all of our amazing customers for choosing to party with us. BIG BIG LOVE to the whole Joker team who delivered yet another monster Pride weekend. It’s an incredibly tiring week and weekend but they deliver year in, year out with big smiles & all the energy💗

Ps. We are closed today to reset both the venue & our brains. Back in action from 4pm tomorrow 🃏

Look you know the score by now, we’ve been doing it for tournaments long enough. England’s WC kicks off tomorrow, which also happens to be Wing Wednesday.
