🌈 Our community investing in our community 🌈

This weekend, the venues that together established Village Pride Community CIC will be joined by other venues within the Kemptown area, for our first fundraising weekend coming together to support our LGBTQIA+ community.

Every pound raised will be reinvested directly back into the area, helping to create a brighter, more welcoming and more vibrant LGBTQIA+ scene through street decorations, community improvements and projects that benefit everyone who lives, works and visits all of our venues and businesses in our village with complete transparency of every penny raised.

Whether you're returning to your favourite venue or discovering somewhere new, every visit this weekend helps support ALL the businesses that support our community all year round.

ALL together, we can achieve anything, we're not just celebrating Pride, not just showing unity as a protest, we're coming together as a SCENE building a legacy for Kemptown.

🌈 Brighton Pride Weekend is almost here! 🌈

If you're visiting Kemptown this Pride weekend, here's everything you need to know.

🍻 Our LGBTQ+ venues are the heart of our community and will be welcoming customers throughout the weekend. Village Pride Community CIC is proud to be working collaboratively with local venues and businesses to help create a safe, welcoming and memorable Pride for everyone.

Our independent venues support Brighton's LGBTQ+ community all year round, providing safe, inclusive spaces and championing local performers. Throughout Pride Weekend, many venues will host an incredible programme of indoor entertainment, including drag, DJs, live singers, cabaret and much more.

Please note: venues outside the Street Party footprint will not have outdoor stages or performances, so we encourage everyone to step inside and enjoy everything they have to offer.

🎉 The Pride Street Party takes place along Marine Parade and is a ticketed event. Your ticket includes access to outdoor entertainment, live stage performances and participating venues including R Bar, Legends, Charles Street Tap and Patterns.

💖 Pride is at its best when we all work together. Please be kind and respectful to one another, support our local businesses, be considerate of residents, listen to our stewards and security teams, respect venue staff and drink responsibly.

Finally, please help us keep Kemptown moving by avoiding large gatherings outside venues, particularly those outside the Street Party footprint. Keeping pavements, public highways and emergency access routes clear helps everyone move around safely and ensures emergency services can get through if needed.

Together, we can make this a Pride Weekend that celebrates everything our community stands for—love, inclusion, respect and unity.
