Hi everyone, it’s with regret we have decided to close up. The last few years have been very challenging through the pandemic and also the ever increasing costs. Sonny and the staff would like to say a big thank you for making the last 20+years such a success but now feels like the right time for someone else to give it a go.

We will officially close on the 23rd but will no longer be open on a Saturday.

Ena's lovely daughter has asked me to share Ena's funeral details.

Monday 27th March at 2pm
At the Downs Crematorium

His wake will be straight after at the Lewes Road Inn

Flowers are Welcome but in honour and in Memory of my dad, there will be Martlet donations buckets at his wake

We sadly lost someone who had been a massive part of H’s for so long.

Ena cruelly lost his life to cancer on 22 February 2022, a true Brighton legend lost too soon.

Sonny and the whole of the H’s community are devastated by his sad passing and with this in mind we won’t be open on the day of his funeral 27th March 2023.

Anybody that knew Ena would know he was the kindest, most generous man who would do anything for anyone.

Sandra, Rachael, Wesley and Jay were so grateful for the help of the martlets; any donations would be gratefully received and something that would make Ena so happy.

Ena would’ve been 70 in July and deserves a send off like no other, he was amazing!! See you on the 27th…..ENA DAY 💙💙💙
