This Friday, Mes Roof Presents No Boundaries resident and Jazz Cafe regular Marley (Marley Reid) for a back to back with resident Myriad. (Myriad.) exploring a Disco, House, Garage, Breaks and more. Their first b2b in a few years after DJing together extensively in Manchester, this is not one to be missed!

Marley is a Northern-born, London-based DJ whose sets flow from groovy house to soulful jazz, funk, disco, and global influences. Known for her infectious energy behind the decks, she’s played iconic venues like The Jazz Cafe and Fabric, festivals including Green Island, Westival, and Cross The Tracks, and shared stages with artists such as Motor City Drum Ensemble, Sandy Rivera, and Norman Jay MBE.

Brighton based, Myriad. is a cross genre DJ that stays agile and playful in the mix moving through weighty, percussive and euphoric club music. Expect big blends and unexpected twists and turns to their DJ sets which explore the history of Disco, House, Garage, UK Funky, Breaks and Jungle. Having supported the likes of Nightmares on Wax, Oppidan, Ross From Friends, Atrip and more, there’s a wealth of experience to compliment a busy discography - recent releases including a genre defying debut LP and a dance floor centred Garage EP.

The first week of September at The Mesmerist - Live Music, DJs and More!

This Tuesday it’s Jam Night with Christain Cooley () and a smorgasbord of the finest musicians bringing you an unforgettable night of live music.

The freshest student bands showcase grassroots up and coming talent for our student band night on Wednesday!

On Thursday we have Mango bringing an array of originals mixed with Funk, Soul and Disco classics.

Friday night, the king of edits, Adam B (Adam Barden ) returns to our Main Bar with the best classics reimagined, mashed up and mixed. Expect to dance!

For Fridays Roof Terrace takeover we welcome Jazz Cafe and No Boundaries resident Marley (Marley Reid ) for a back to back with Myriad. (Myriad. ) exploring a Disco, House, Garage, Breaks and more. Their first b2b in a few years after DJing together extensively in Manchester, this is not one to be missed!

Saturday night sees OBE (Ollie Bundy )bring classic party bangers with with Disco and House flavours in the Main Bar.

Saturday’s Roof Terrace takeover sees Deep Fried (Adam Billingham ) bring a special charity fundraiser for Colombia’s earthquake appeal. Exploring House, Disco and Latin influences - dance the night away under the stars and support a good cause.

This week at The Mesmerist, Live Music, DJs and Mes Fest Bank Holiday all day festival!

On Tuesday our open Mic returns with bringing an array of local talent to our Main Bar stage.

Thursday night sees Skavana return to the stage for a set of classic Ska, Nirvana covers and feel good sounds!

On Friday night Murph and Bob (murph&bob ) bring their expertise in Funk, Soul, Disco and House to our rooftop for another groovy takeover. In the Main Bar, LJ Shellings (LJ Shellings ) brings you a mixture of classic throwback bangers and brand new releases.

Saturday is Mes Fest - our full venue day festival! With live music and DJs across our Main Bar, Rooftop, Flipside and Birdcage rooms. Come and enjoy a festival atmosphere with some of the best promoters programming DJs from 4pm til 3am:

MES FEST 2026: Full Venue Day Festival

We are excited to announce Mes Fest 2026! We are inviting some of our favourite local grassroots promoters to select DJs, represent their sound and create a festival atmosphere using every room of The Mesmerist!

MAIN BAR (5pm-3am): Tidal Groove () x Could Be Huge? Could Be Massive! (Could Be Huge? Could Be Massive.)
Expect soulful grooves through Disco, House and more. From classic party anthems to rare latin cuts, the two promoters will be programming an expansive line up of DJs to keep you moving from the afternoon to the early hours!

Roof Terrace Takeover (4pm-1.30am): Baggy Bass () vs. Hold Tight (holdtight.)
Is it a collaboration or a sound clash? They’ll be programming DJs one after the other to represent their respective sounds. Expect House, UK Garage, Breaks, Jungle and all the best underground dance music. Special guest slots, MC’s, ending with a raucous b2b - the roof will be explosive from open til close.

The Flipside Takeover (4pm-1am): 4DM (FOR THE MUSIC) x Spotlight (SPOTLIGHT )
Starting things off in our grooviest room will be 4DM programming a variety of DJs, live MCs and vocalists exploring Hip-Hop, Rnb, Garage and more in an intimate live setting. A creative community with a label on the way, their rosta will include some of the best up and coming artists in the city.

As the sun sets and night time draws in, Spotlight takeover with a line up of DJs brining an eclectic mix of House and Garage. Having supported the likes of Shy FX, Spotlights community of all female and Q***r DJs have been playing on some of the biggest stages around - this is not one to be missed!

Birdcage Takeover (9pm-2am): Hardlaunch (Hard Launch)
Showcasing the best Q***r DJs and exploring Hard House, Trance, House, Speed Garage and more, join Hard Launch for full tilt dance music from start to finish. After bringing a huge party to our Flipside room on Pride alongside sets at Horizon and Sidewinder - they are ones to watch and will always get you movin’

This Saturday Mes Roof Presents two residents and good friends DJ Handsome (Pete) and LJ Shellings (LJ Shellings) for an all night long B2B.

Our resident House Music expert, DJ Handsome will bring bags of bangers and tonnes of experience back to the roof with a plethora of classic bangers and brand new cuts.

LJ Shellings has supported the likes of Interplanetary Criminal and played a mixture of big clubs, festivals, bars and more - after years of performing across his hometown and beyond, he brings that full journey to the decks every time he plays. With new releases on the way, expect sets that span genres, eras, and moods, and a dancefloor that knows it.
