Mes Roof presents some of Brightons best up and coming DJ’s to explore a variety of electronic music across House, Garage, Breaks and Techno. Expect classics you know, new releases to discover and plenty of blends!

Oh See:
‘A selector whose prowess behind the decks is undeniable, translating elation into rhythm and tension into groove. Her mixes don’t just move bodies; they leave a mark.

With a sharp ear and finger on the pulse, she’s shared stages with with some of the scene’s finest and carved out her own space in clubs across London, Brighton, Bristol, Ireland and Ibiza. Her long-standing Patterns residency is no fluke - it’s a reflection of a sound that’s always evolving and a presence that’s impossible to ignore.

Oh See’s unshakable passion for electronic music doesn’t stop at djing; she is gradually building her tastemaker status through a steady flow of releases and running her label, B**b Sweat Records.’

Kamer:
‘Kamer rolls out a rhythmic kaleidoscope of undulating grooves from dubstep’s crashing snares to UK funky’s kinetic percussion. Platforms like Rinse FM, Boiler Room and Keep Hush have showcased his high energy, underground productions that merge soundsystem pressure with movement sparking intensity.’

Myriad.:
‘The Mesmerist resident has heaps of experience as a DJ from residencies in Brighton with Patterns and Uncut Jams to festival appearances and sets at Manchester clubs like Hidden - he’s plays as far afield as Ireland and even Mexico.

With a genre bending album released last year, the head of local record label Rhythmic Trifecta has heaps of releases coming this year spanning House, UK Garage and Breaks. Having supported the likes of Nightmares on Wax, Oppidan, Ross From Friends and many more, he’s no stranger to varied club sets.’

With our Music Festival less than a week away we thought we would answer some FAQs 🙌

Q: Where do we find tickets?
A: Tickets can be brought the the link in our bio, on this post, or by scanning the QR code on our posters

Q: When does the event start?
A: The Doors open at 1pm and music is on from 1:30

Q: Is the festival only for students?
A: No! The festival is for everyone to enjoy music made by students whilst raising money for charity

Q: What is War Child?
A: War child is a charity dedicated to helping children and families affected by war, you can read more about them here

Q: What sort of music will be played?
A: All day long we have Live Bands of many genres, Acoustic acts upstairs and DJs on the roof, so everyone is sure to find something they like
