Sultans Delights

Sultan's Delights is a small Brighton based catering company, serving Middle Eastern and Levantine inspired, healthy, home-made, seasonal and local food. We also make our own preserved lemons and spice blends using home grown mint and dill. Sultans Delights serves regular lunch boxes containing a main hot dish accompanied by some side salads and a dip or a sauce. Regularly I serve:

Shakshuka: Tun

isian dish. Peppers cooked in rich tomato sauce, home made preserved lemons, fresh herbs, topped with local free range eggs, home made saffron tzatziki. Normally comes with local bread, side seasonal salad (winter slaw or summery Shirazi salad). Served hot. Bethlehem Gheda: Aromatic Middle Eastern stew with butternut squash, spinach and chickpeas served with Arabic labne ( yoghurt cheese), nutty couscous and side seasonal salad. Iranian rosecoco bean stew with seasonal vegetables, batata harra (Lebanese sauté potatoes), tzatziki and seasonal side salad. Falafel Wraps: Home made freshly cooked falafel patties served with, seasonal salad, home-made hummus, home-made chilli sauce and tahina sauce. We use broad beans when in season instead of chickpeas. Boreks: Deep fried filo pastry rolls filled with spinach and feta or sweet potato and home made za'atar sauce. Freshly cooked leek fritters (winter) and courgette fritters (summer) served with tzatziki. Other dishes served depending on the season and new inspirations.
