The original Curry Leaf Cafe is located in the heart of Brighton's bustling Lanes, just a couple of minutes' walk from the beach. Its colourful, laid-back 75-seat dining space – decked out with exposed brick walls, wooden tables and vintage Indian design touches – operates as a cafe-cum-lunch spot during the day, offering a range of coffees, teas, snacks and traditional South Indian street food, as well as more substantial meals such as thali platters, dosas and open naan wraps. In the evenings diners can experience the cafe’s small but diverse dinner menu of tandoor-grilled meats, street food dishes, expertly spiced curries and authentic South Indian desserts, accompanied by the UK’s best range of craft beers. The small but diverse menu changes with the season, and around half of the dishes are suitable for vegan and gluten-intolerant diners.
