We are so excited to see our very own head chef, Sell on professionals fighting for a place in the semi finals, airing at 19:30 on BBC 1 tonight!!

Sell has been working for us for nearly a year and has been such a big influence into where Amari is and going to in the future.

Last year we visited Sevilla and Jerez for a mini break-away and discovered Sherry.
As you can see the rest of the holiday was a blast🤣, so on Wednesday 5th November we will be inviting a very special guest from Lustau Bodegas to do a sherry tasting, accompanied by some incredible food to celebrate International Sherry Week

£105 per person including six courses of deliciousness and sherry to accompany, with all the wine knowledge of some of the best sherries in Spain.

Come along and I guarantee you’ll be hooked and getting down to to stock up for Christmas 🎄

Taste the true spirit of Spain

On 5th November to celebrate International Sherry Week, Amari will be collaborating with Spain’s most awarded winery in 2023 and 2025 with association to bring you an evening of fine sherries, paired with a very special menu.

As a very special guest Lustau has sent one of their top experts to explain six different sherries, talking you through each drink in detail. This will also be served with an extra special tasting menu, created with the single purpose of pairing perfectly with each sherry.

Guests are to arrive at 18:30 with dinner starting at 18:45.
Event will last till 10pm
Bookings going live on Wednesday 29th at 12:00
£105 per person (including sherry tasting)
We will require £50 deposit on the moment of your booking. Non refundable within 36 hours starting the event.
We will be unable to cater for any dietary requirements for this evening.

Happy birthday to us…..and what a year it’s been!!!!

So many fun times with these crazy, talented and amazing people. It’s been the biggest honour to share this journey with you all. ♥️

We would also like to thank all our wonderful guests, for without you this adventure could never be possible. For all the wonderful reviews, the packed out nights, the recommendations to friends and family. You have really helped to create a wonderful neighbourhood atmosphere. We truly thank you for welcoming us on Baker Street ❤️

To our suppliers, for providing the best produce they could, ensuring we always kept our standards to the highest levels.

To our friends and family, who just appear when we needed help the most; making the impossible moments possible.

The biggest thank you must go to and for believing in us and this project, for investing the money to make this happen, for working every hour to ensure the doors opened on time and for the support the whole way along this journey.

It should also be mentioned that it has not all been plane sailing and there have been so many occasions when we have all had to work extra hard, sacrifice sleep, time off and time with our families. You guys have always delivered and your loyalty will never be forgotten.

We’re back from Spain and back open from tonight! 🇪🇸

Whilst Ian & Tina were eating there way around Seville & Cádiz they managed to sneak a sherry tasting in on the last day in Bodegas Lustau, where some of our sherrys are from! From basic bars with food that just lets the produce do the talking.. to Michelin restaurants where the magic happens to get some inspiration!

Me (Ali) and Mo were also in Spain at the same time but on the other side in the much loved San Sebastián! Eating plenty of pinchos and lapping up the great produce around us… Along with a couple (12 or so) cheeky beers with who we bumped into over there!

MICHELIN 2025 💥

Absolutely buzzing to announce that Amari has made it in to the after being open for just 9 weeks!!!

What did they say?

Look out for the bright-red exterior that draws you like a beacon to this Spanish-inspired restaurant tucked down a busy side street in the north of the city. The simply decorated setting keeps the focus on the food, with a menu full of dishes that deliver on their promise: the croquetas are creamy, the crudo is refreshing and the suckling pig is prepared with skill. The wine list is expectedly Spanish in its focus, while the selection of sherries is the ideal way to kick off the evening.

We all can’t stop smiling and it’s made us all want to press even more 💪

What an incredible honour 🙏
