A supper club starts long before anyone takes a seat. It’s in the menu ideas, the prep, the tiny details and the inevitable “one more taste” in the kitchen.

Hello, summer.

WILDBLOOD & QUEENIE TAKE OVER SALTDEAN LIDO
On Friday 21 August, Wildblood & Queenie are bringing their much-loved blend of disco, house and joyful chaos to the Saltdean Lido Ballroom.
From 7pm, expect disco classics, edits, remixes, nu-disco and Italo, all served with plenty of divas and a strong chance of cowbell. The dancefloor will be welcoming, inclusive and rooted in everything that makes Brighton’s q***r disco scene so special.
Reading Room will be serving cocktails and food throughout the evening, with the Lido terraces open if the weather behaves. Sequins are optional. Dancing is strongly encouraged. Book via the events page at www.saltdeanlido.co.uk
