Table 35 | 10 Plates | 1 table

The idea stays the same, but the menu doesn’t. Every week we build it around the best seasonal produce we can get our hands on, so no two visits are quite the same.

Ten sharing plates. £35 per person.

Wednesday and Thursday, for a limited time.

A message from Dave…

I’ve put a great deal of thought into whether or not to say something publicly about our current situation, as others have. I’ve realised that there’s no shame in admitting that keeping afloat in this industry is, at the minute, extremely difficult. Business is really fu***ng tough.

I feel that the changes and adjustments that Furna has gone through these past couple of years have been overwhelmingly positive, but our bookings are down and our costs are higher than they have ever been, by a wide margin. In my opinion we are cooking some of the best food we ever have, using the best produce we can get our hands on, and charging as little as we possibly can whilst trying to keep up with the rising costs of owning a restaurant, and right now we’re the most accessible we’ve ever been. We, like many others, have been cutting costs behind the scenes everywhere we can, but I will always refuse to compromise on the quality of our food and drink.

Over the last nearly four years we have retained 2 AA rosettes, made it into the Michelin guide, Harden’s top 100, and Squaremeal’s top 100 to mention but a few, but it feels as if long gone are the days where you can do something well and expect that to be enough to draw people in. I want the next four years to be just as, if not more successful than the last, but without your support I just can’t see that happening.

It would be incredibly easy for me to blame the decisions made by the government, VAT, business rates, etc, but the long and short of it is that we need to be busier. Otherwise, Furna simply isn’t sustainable and we won’t be here much longer.

We are so lucky to be surrounded by such an incredible community, and we are so grateful to all those that join us every week. If you haven’t visited us yet, or not for a while, now is definitely the time to do so.

Thank you.
