Last weekend, we brought the proper, unfiltered spirit of Permit Room straight to Caravanserai to kick off Brighton Fringe 2026.

We fueled the crowd with a Chai and Mango Lassi pop-up for a night packed with heavy DJ sets, workshops, dance, and late-night conversation.

Good music, great drinks, and pure community.

The festival is running for three whole weeks, but we loved setting the tone for opening night just a stone’s throw from our Brighton home.

Only a few days left to fill your pie hole: the Chicken Ruby Pie. Cooked up with friend and pie-making legend, Chef Calum Franklin.

Rich-and-velvety chicken makhani in flower-stamped buttery short-crust pastry. Served with garlic-dill mash, chilli-perked peas and good & proper sauce.

Very few pies are made fresh each morning. Available ’til 19th April,12pm–5pm only, whilst they last. Ask your server to order.
