Jamaican patties are a traditional staple in the Caribbean.
Patties are a semicircular pastry that contains various fillings and spices baked inside a flaky shell, often tinted golden yellow. Traditionally filled with seasoned ground beef, but other fillings include chicken, pork, lamb & vegetables.

As its name suggests, it is commonly found in Jamaica, and is also eaten in other areas of the Caribbean.

THE SECRETS OUT… We’re now taking over and will be cooking up cool Caribbean cuisine at our second venue the 🔥🍗🏝

Its been just 5 month since our grand opening at The Freemason and we’ve now managed to secure our second home and boy is it a big one!

The Hobgoblin is undoubtedly one of the biggest and one of the best pubs in brighton, perfectly situated off London road, a hub for students and locals. It has a long standing reputation going ways back as an exciting, quirky & vibrant pub boasting the best beer garden in the city!

We feel this is a match made in heaven and we can’t wait for you all to try our food.

We will be in the Hob from TODAY onwards serving food. So come down and say hi 👋🏾
