What a day, guys... actually, what a WEEK! 🤯😂

It's been absolutely bonkers!!

A massive thank you to everyone who's been in or stopped me when I'm walking to work and wished me a lovely holiday. You guys are the best! ❤️ ( Still fee weeks to go!)

If every day keeps going like this... my gosh, send coffee... or maybe something stronger! 😂

Since Tuesday we've gone through:
🥔 Over 100kg of potatoes
🥧 A mountain of steak & ale pies
🍗 Countless Hunter's Chickens
🥩 5kg of rib-eye steaks Charles Haigh thank you!

I honestly think we've broken a few records this week! 📈😂

Tomorrow is shopping day, prep day... and then bring on Sunday! We're already halfway full with bookings, so it's looking like another busy one!

A huge thank you to my wee helpers Hannah, Maya and Holly – I couldn't do it without you. ❤️

🎉🧠 WOW… WHAT A FANTASTIC QUIZ NIGHT WE HAD AT THE RED LION! 🧠🎉

What a brilliant evening filled with laughs, friendly competition, and plenty of banter! 🍻🤣 It was fantastic to welcome a couple of new teams this week, and you all made it a night to remember. ❤️

🍽️ Our homemade lasagne went down an absolute storm… there wasn’t much left by the end! 😋👏

🏆 A huge congratulations to our winners… one of our brand new teams, all the way from Sydney, Australia! 🇦🇺 They certainly made an impression and walked away with £58! 💷🎉

🥈 2nd Place took home a bottle of alcohol 🍾

Good morning Brighouse

📢 A Little Important Announcement from The Red Lion ❤️🦁

We’d like to let all of our wonderful customers know that our absolutely amazing chef Anna will be taking some well deserved time off in August to spend some quality time with her family. ❤️

I’m sure you’ll all agree that after all the incredible meals she’s cooked, the long hours she’s worked, and the love and passion she puts into every single dish, which she does single handed, (which in its self shows just how amazing she really is) and she’s more than earned a well deserved break. 👏🍽️

Our last food service before her holiday will be:

🗓️ Sunday 9th August

She’ll then be recharging her batteries before returning to the kitchen on:

🗓️ Wednesday 2nd September

And trust us… she’ll be coming back with a bang! 💥🍴
