Well, what a fantastic afternoon we've had today in Brigg. So many people, some really cool cars, music and dancers.
But my favourite part of the afternoon was having a visit from Winston Churchill and his wife, along with some friends and the mayor of Brigg.
We would like to say a huge thank you to all our customers who were very patient with us as we were very busy. I hope you all enjoyed your homemade scones, we look forward to welcoming you another day.

This afternoon we have a variety of scones for sale including; fruit, cheese, Date and walnut, Cherry Bakewell , Raspberry and dark chocolate, lemon and blueberry and Apple crumble 😋😋. We also have a variety of fruit teas. 🫖☕, so Pop in and treat yourself. We are open from 1pm.

We are open on Sunday from 1pm serving cream teas (and other drinks) for the 1940's and classic car event.

Tuesday the 1st of September is the first anniversary of myself owning Shipley's Curiositeas! 🥳🥳. How quick has this year gone? It has been a year of happiness and laughter and I want to thank each and every one of customers, staff, family and friends for their ongoing support.
Here's to the same next year!!

Finally, we had a suggestion from a customer last week about making some gluten free plum bread, well we listened! See the pics below 👇, I hope it tastes as good as it looks!!

Also, we've got issues with our card machine presently and would be grateful if you could use cash when you visit us please! We are trying really hard to rectify the problem as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience as we know how difficult it is to find a cash machine in Brigg! 😃🙄xx

By popular demand we have gluten free coffee and walnut cake freshly made this morning, we have also some freshly baked gluten free date and walnut scones. We have some cherry Bakewell scones freshly made too!
Soup of the day is cream of mushroom.
We also have a variety of fresh made sandwiches and jacket potatoes.
