🍂 AUTUMN HOURS ARE HERE! 🍂

After a wonderfully busy summer, it’s time for a little seasonal switch-up at The Clock Inn! 🕰️🍁

First things first… we’ll be CLOSED on Monday 14th & Tuesday 15th September to give our brilliant team a very well-earned break after keeping the pints pouring, plates flying and pub buzzing all summer long! ❤️

From then on, we’ll be moving over to our Autumn Opening Hours, as detailed in this post. 🍂

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has visited, eaten, drunk, celebrated, watched the football World Cup, enjoyed the sunshine and supported us throughout the summer. It’s been a busy one, and we’re incredibly grateful.

A country music queen, an icon and an absolute legend — we think Dolly deserves a send-off to remember, and that’s exactly what we intend to give her! 🪩🤠

☀️ Hello, Summer! We've got some exciting news... 🍻

We're making the most of the longer days with NEW Summer opening hours – and there are two big changes we think you're going to love!

🎉 We're now OPEN on Mondays!
That's right... no more Monday blues! Whether you're popping in for lunch, a post-work pint, or a catch-up with friends, our doors are now open every Monday over the Summer!

🍽️ Sundays just got even better!
Our much-loved Sunday Roast Society is still served from 12pm–3pm, but now the fun doesn't stop there...

From 3:30pm–7pm, our kitchen will be serving our full pub menu, so if you're craving some delicious pub dishes, we've got you covered all afternoon and into the early evening.

⚽❤️ What. A. Tournament. ❤️⚽

And just like that... the World Cup has come to an end.

Firstly, a huge congratulations to Spain on becoming World Champions! 🇪🇸 A thoroughly deserved victory and a fantastic way to round off an incredible tournament. 👏🏆

We're also so proud of England for securing 3rd place. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🦁

What a journey it has been, and they gave us so many unforgettable moments along the way!

Over the past few weeks, The Clock Inn has truly become Chideock's FOOTBALL FANZONE, and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere. The pub has been absolutely buzzing, filled with supporters cheering on their teams, celebrating every goal, and creating memories together.

One of the best parts? Welcoming football fans from all over the world. We've loved sharing the tournament with guests from 🇩🇪Germany, 🇨🇭Switzerland, 🇫🇷France, 🇩🇰Denmark, 🇹🇷Turkey, Norway 🇳🇴, and the Netherlands 🇳🇱 alongside all of our fantastic local supporters. Football really does bring people together. ❤️🌍

To everyone who joined us—whether you were backing England, Spain, or any other nation—thank you. Thank you for choosing The Clock Inn to watch the matches, for filling the pub with incredible energy, and for making this one of the most memorable sporting events we've ever hosted.

💔 England may have fallen at the Argentina hurdle... but there's no time to sulk for too long! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿❤️

After Argentina knocked us out of the running for victory, we've made a very important decision...

🇪🇸 We're Spanish now! 🇪🇸 (At least until Sunday night... 😉)

But before we dust off our Spanish phrase books, there's still one more job for the Three Lions! 🦁

⚽ SATURDAY | England 🆚 France | 10pm

Come and cheer the boys on as they battle it out for 3rd place in the World Cup. Finishing third would be an incredible achievement, and we'll be showing every minute LIVE on our big screens.
