The Half Moon

The Half Moon The Half Moon is a wonderful pub situated in the beautiful West Dorset coutryside.

With a cosy & welcoming atmosphere, local real ales and award winning food sourced from local producers where possible. There are cosy corners filled with period features as well as an open fire to warm up by after a chilly walk. We have a large beer garden to the rear of the pub with countryside views complete with our marquee with all weather flooring - but please bring a jumper if its a chilly day! Hello everyone. After several power cuts, we now have no water. This means we have to close the kitchen as we cannot wash hands, utensils and work areas etc. Hopefully this will be fixed shortly and we can carry on with this evening’s service.

Hello everyone. We have got issues with our phone due to the multiple power cuts we have had. The voicemail function is not working. We can’t rectify this until Monday morning. The phone is working so you can still get hold of us directly during service, send us a message via facebook or email in the meantime.
