What a weekend! You all showed up (we knew you would) and working with Mark was an utter joy (we knew it would be). Really has been a long held dream of mine to bring π•Ώπ–π–Š π•Ύπ–”π–ˆπ–Žπ–†π–‘ π•―π–Žπ–˜π–™π–”π–—π–™π–Žπ–”π–“ in to this space, and share a kitchen with Mark. It has been incredible for us all, and I'm pretty certain it has been for you lot too. Thank you so much for being here, and for all your support, as always. We all make this what it is, and what it is, is glorious! Ending the weekend happy, inspired and knackered. Sure sign that it's been a belter.

Our first day as π•Ώπ–π–Š π•Ύπ–”π–ˆπ–Žπ–†π–‘ π•―π–Žπ–˜π–™π–”π–—π–™π–Žπ–”π–“ and The Old Lifeboat Station, shoulder to shoulder, plating up the freshest Bridlington bay catch and doing it justice the best way we can. It has been absolutely ace to be together, and be with you, in this space. It's about the food, and that's really exciting, but also as much about the people. There's something really special about it. Come and be part of it, tonight between 6-8pm and then tomorrow 12.15-15.30 &6-8pm. See you then, friends.

Some very exciting news to share with you! This weekend we will be collaborating with Chef Mark Hill of π•Ώπ–π–Š π•Ύπ–”π–ˆπ–Žπ–†π–‘ π•―π–Žπ–˜π–™π–”π–—π–™π–Žπ–”π–“. This is something I have had aspirations to do ever since I first visited in the opening week, I found Mark's cooking so vibrant and incredibly inspiring. I was still working my way through important people in my life to take for a meal, when sadly Social Distortion had to close its doors. Which brings me to this; you are all important to me, and now I get the chance to introduce you all to Mark's creations alongside my own cooking. We will be sharing a board at The Old Lifeboat Station on Friday and Saturday lunch 12.15-15.30 and evening 6-8pm. If you can, then plan it into your weekend. Do it for me, do it for yourselves, do it because it's the first time we have done it and we need you! We are very excited and I am counting on all of you to be too, I know you will be, you have never been anything but the best of supporters. Usual hours all weekend, with Ey Up Coffee and The Drift Kitchen by paul @ the old lifeboat station brid with the addition of π•Ώπ–π–Š π•Ύπ–”π–ˆπ–Žπ–†π–‘ π•―π–Žπ–˜π–™π–”π–—π–™π–Žπ–”π–“ Friday and Saturday lunch and evening. Some of this weekends plates, featuring the glorious Captain Haddock (my late night Vinted purchases have never let me down). We have had a fantastic weekend, always love seeing our place so full of life and our tables full of food. Thank you all for making that happen. You always put smiles on our faces, and we hope we did the same for you. We will be back from Friday as usual. Home time. Over and out friends!

On Saturday evening a very lovely table of four came to us for the first time, and standing at the trailer told me "we have heard great things about you, if we said feed us with what you love and we will pay at end, how would that sound to you?" Like a real honour is how it sounded. As a chef, it feels such a gesture of trust to put the choice in my hands, and know I will feed you well. It brought me great joy to put together a selection of food that evening for those lovely people. As it brings me great joy every weekend, when all of you lovely lot stand in line to order, with no clue what I'll write, and gift me the same generosity of trust. We count ourselves as very lucky. Back on Friday.
