🔨☕ **BIG CHANGES ARE COMING…** ☕🔨

We’ve been keeping a little secret… but now it’s time to tell you! ❤️

**From Friday 9th October, Big Ron’s Café will be CLOSED for a couple of weeks while we carry out a refurbishment and begin the transformation into something very special.**

Over the past few months, we’ve been thinking long and hard about the future of the café. One thing we knew for certain was that **we didn’t want to give up on Bridgwater or simply close the doors and walk away.**

Instead, we decided to change.

When we reopen, you’re going to see a very different café.

☕ A warmer, more relaxing atmosphere
🧊 Barista coffees & iced coffees
🥪 Sandwiches, toasties & light bites
🍰 Cakes, treats and cream teas
❤️ And, of course, the home of **All Things Cheesecake**

We’re creating somewhere you can escape the noise of the town for a while — somewhere comfortable, welcoming and a little bit different.

And there’s something else coming too…

**Big Ron’s Café is becoming THE HIDEAWAY.** 👀

While we're closed, we’ll be painting, decorating, changing the layout, introducing the new look and working hard behind the scenes to bring our vision to life.

This isn’t just a lick of paint.

**It’s a new chapter.**

We cannot wait to open those doors again and show you what we’ve created.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Big Ron’s Café. Every coffee bought, every cheesecake eaten, every share, comment and word of encouragement has helped keep us going.

**We’re not disappearing — we’re rebuilding.**

❤️ **BIG RON’S IS CHANGING… BUT WE’RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE.** ❤️

We wanted to share something with all of you who have supported Big Ron’s Café.

Over the next few months, you’re going to start noticing some changes.

A new name.
A new look.
A different style of menu.
And a slightly different direction for the café.

The truth is, running a small independent café right now is tough. We’ve faced some real challenges, and there have been moments when the easiest option would have been to simply close the doors, walk away and call it a day.

**But we don’t want to do that.**

Because this place has never just been about selling food.

It’s about the people who walk through our doors. The conversations. The laughs. The people who come in on their own and end up chatting to somebody. The regulars who have supported us. And the wonderful people of Bridgwater who have given us a chance.

So rather than giving up, **we’re going to adapt.**

Over the coming months, Big Ron’s will gradually begin transforming into something a little different.

🍰 Cakes and sweet treats
🥪 Fresh sandwiches
🔥 Toasties
🫖 Cream teas
🥐 Light bites and snacks
…and, of course, we’ll proudly remain the **home of All Things Cheesecake!** 🍰❤️

We want to create somewhere you can escape the noise for a while.

Somewhere warm, welcoming and relaxed.

A little place tucked away in Bridgwater where you can meet a friend, enjoy a proper coffee, grab a light bite, sit with a slice of cheesecake—or simply come in and have a chat.

There will be changes to the décor, the menu and eventually even the **name**.

We’re not going to reveal everything just yet. 😉

But this isn't the end of Big Ron’s story.

**It’s the beginning of the next chapter.**

We could quit.

We could walk away.

But we’d much rather roll our sleeves up, try something new and fight to keep a welcoming little café here for the people of Bridgwater.

To every single person who has walked through our doors, bought a breakfast, ordered a coffee, tried one of our cheesecakes, shared one of our posts or simply told somebody about us…

We really hope you’ll stick with us over the next few months and watch this little place transform.
