So it’s a bit of a bittersweet announcement from me today. From the 1st of August the Mean Panini will be not be part of the Wild Rocket Restaurant. Having been within the business the past 6 months I have loved every minute of being here. Working along side Erdal, ._, .laurynx and all the other brilliant staff Wild Rocket Restauran & Bar it’s been a pleasure to work with you all and in all honestly you’ve all made me feel part of the family. It’s quite refreshing to see a whole business love what they do day in/day out and always ready to go the extra mile and I think that’s testiment how successful the Wild Rocket is. Now as much as I value every person that’s supported me at the wild rocket from staff to the customers that come in and made this a success, I now think it’s finally time to go my own direction and have my own adventures.

One week to go until the next Bridgwater Food and Drink Festival. So we thought we'd give the event a bit of a plug, there's nothing worse than finding out about such a popular event after it's happened, and you can't always predict how Facebook will make things pop up on feeds!

If you come in to take a look at the food, drink and craft stalls that pop up for one day please also give a thought to the local businesses that trade in the town all year round. They'd appreciate the support too! Fingers crossed for some lovely weather ...

So firstly I want to say a huge thank you for this year. I didn’t really think at the start of 2025 this would really have been possible, and it wouldn’t have been possible without those who supported the Mean Panini, I’m so happy that finally I’ve actually jumped into something that personally I love to do. Now that being said, I am going to be changing things up for 2026. The vision at the start of the Mean Panini was to cater to everyone with the best possible produce in a way that everyone could enjoy and without breaking the bank and 2026 will be no different however excitingly I will be adding pastries, pies, bread, cold sandwiches and cakes in hopefully some sort of regular outlet 🙃 Anyway… I’m not sure how I’m doing that but in 2026… but one things for sure, I will 😂 so in case the next few weeks are a-bit to chaotic for long essays on social media, The Mean Panini wishes everyone a happy Xmas and happy new years… Bring on 2026 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
