The gardens are dog friendly and have classic and contemporary features such as: the herbaceous border, the blue garden and a sub-tropical walkamongst others. There is also a botanical glasshouse where arid, sub-tropical and tropical plants can be seen. The Gardens provide a superb facility for students at Bridgwater & Taunton College, Cannington Campus to gain essential hands-on experience.

This summer, the beautiful surroundings of The Walled Gardens of Cannington will be transformed for a spectacular open-air performance of The Sword in the Stone by Cambridge Touring Productions!

Watch young Wart and his friend Morgan as they travel to the Tournament in London, meeting a host of colourful characters and learning lasting lessons about friendship and courage along the way.

✨ Special Challenge: We want to see your best costumes! Come dressed as a character from the show to make the afternoon even more magical.

Show Starts: 4.00pm
Duration: 1hr 50 mins (plus a 20-minute interval to stretch your legs!)

Join us from Saturday 11th – Saturday 18th April for a fun-filled adventure around the Gardens as children hunt for 15 (not so) creepy crawlers hidden throughout the grounds 🕷️🐛
