📣WE ARE LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS OF OUR TEAM! BOTH FRONT OF HOUSE AND FOR OUR WASH UP!📣

We are looking for Front of house staff to work a 9 hour shift on either a Saturday or Sunday (or both) in our lovely restaurant. Typical shift 8.30am-5.30pm. There will be occasional Friday night opportunities too.Experience preferred but we will provide full training. The role will include running food and drinks, clearing tables and making sure our wonderful customers are happy and have everything they need. Pay is
dependent on age and experience, breaks are paid and food is provided while on shift, there is also free on site parking.

We are also looking for wash up staff to work a 6 hour shift on a Sunday in our wash up. Typical shift 12pm-6pm. There will be occasional Friday night opportunities too. Experience preferred but we will provide full training. The role will include washing up crockery, glasses and cutlery and using our dishwasher and glass washer. You need to
have high standards and work efficiently. This isn’t the most glamorous job but it is a very important one! Pay is dependent on age and experience, breaks are paid and food is provided while on shift, there is also free on site parking.

🇮🇹A TASTE OF ITALY... ITALIAN NIGHT! FRIDAY 6TH NOVEMBER🇮🇹

Arrive any time after 7.00pm and we show you to your table. We get you a drink from the bar and we bring you your classic Italian sharing board starter:
Buffalo mozzarella, Roasted Mediterranean panzanella, chicken & chorizo arancini, roasted red pepper dip, warm foccaccia.

At around 8.15 we serve your main course which you choose when you order.
-Shin of beef bolognaise, pappardelle pasta, Grana Padano shavings.
-Pork tenderloin rolled and stuffed with wild mushrooms, pancetta, soave sauce and olive oil mash.
-Grilled Seabass with lemon and rosemary potatoes and a olive and herb sauce.
-Chargrilled supreme of chicken with classic Milanese risotto, saffron and chicken jus.
-Asparagus and pea risotto with crumbled goats cheese and tapenade toast.
All with sauteed green vegetables.

Then follows your pudding. Nothing to choose here because everyone gets three mini Italian classics!
A shot of traditional Tiramisu with a chocolate curl, a shot of strawberry panna cotta finished with fresh strawberry and a square of tangy lemon polenta cake topped with creme frais and blueberry.

This is an evening of great sophistication. 15 different two bite canapes. Chilled Moet & Chandon. A somerset cheeseboard. And a wonderful swing/ jazz singer.

Arrive from 7.00pm and we get you a drink and serve you some freshly popped cheese and rosemary popcorn.

The price includes half a bottle of Moet each, but you can buy extra on the night or when you order at a discount.

Arrive at any time after 10.30am and we will show you to your downstairs table.

We will lay out our dining room with a lavish selection of breakfast goodies. There is no limit to what you can eat or drink. A truly bottomless breakfast and / or lunch!

Scrambled eggs. Fried eggs. Field mushrooms. Pynes pork sausages. Grilled bacon. Hash browns. Grilled plum tomatoes. Heinz baked beans. Meat free sausages. Wilted spinach.

Granary and white toast. Crumpets. Warm morning pastries.

Plain yoghurt with fruit compote. Birchers Muesli. Granola.

Fresh orange juice. Apple juice. A wide range of teas & coffee.

Chilled Prosecco. A selection of lovely red & white w**es. All served by our breakfast staff. Other drinks may be purchased at the time but cannot be given as a free alternative to the menu drinks.

The event closes at 1.00pm. Food and drink can only be consumed at your table and not taken away. The hot food buffet is cleared at 12.00. Drinks and cold food remain until the end.

🎄🍹COCKTAILS AND TAPAS AT CHRISTMAS! SATURDAY 19TH DECEMBER!🎄🍹

There's nothing wrong with turkey and stuffing. But how about this for a night out the week before Christmas!

Arrive at 7.00pm and we show you to your table. We get you a drink and we bring to your table a board loaded with a great grazing selection. Crispy pea and feta croquettes with garlic aioli. Wedges of warm potato tortilla. Chargrilled Mediterranean vegetables. Focaccia bread.
At around 8.15 we bring to your table a chorizo, tomato and chickpea stew with chicken thighs. Beef stifado slow cooked and with lots of tomato and baby onions.
For the vegetarians we bring aubergine parmigiani and an orzo risotto with peas, artichokes and ricotta.
This all comes with patatas bravas and a chicory rocket and orange salad.
Pudding is also served to the table. Baked figs with a cinnamon honey, mini cannolo with lemon, cream cheese and pistachio and Christmas chocolate truffles.

The Cocktail Bar will be open and we give you a start with two cocktails of your choice included in the price. There will also be mocktail alternatives.

So all you need to do is have a think about who you'd like to come with. And this would be the perfect gift for that someone who's so hard to buy for.

The price for three courses and two cocktails is £37.50 per person.

🎄🪩MAMMA MIA AND GREASE AT CHRISTMAS! GREEK FOOD AND SINGALONG DISCO! SATURDAY 5TH DECEMBER!🎄🪩

We've done a few of these nights and were delighted to offer another!
These are great fun nights coupled up with good food. What's not to love.
It starts at 7.00pm and we serve your starter between 7.30pm and 8.00pm.
Main courses go out at around 8.30pm. Following feedback we have stopped the pudding service but we will give every table a pile of Chocolate Heroes instead!
At 9.30 the Sing along disco starts. The lights go on. The volume goes up. We get the wigs and the sunglasses out and we dish out the song sheets and inflatable microphones. No need to make up your own words because you'll have the proper words in front of you.
The sing along will include all the amazing hits from Mamma Mia and Grease and will continue until 10.45pm.
And then until midnight you'll enjoy the cheesiest tunes ever to hit a dancefloor.

🎄🎄WREATH MAKING WITH JANE FROM EDEN FLOWERS! THURSDAY 26TH NOVEMBER!🎄🎄

Jane from Eden Flower School will bring everything you need to make a beautiful wreath in these two 3 hour sessions.

Jane will guide you through the initial fabrication of your wreath base and then the building of your wreath using foliage, pines, orange segments and lots of other great things. You will end up taking away a beautiful and personal wreath you can keep for yourself or give as a gift.

The sessions are also a great gift so bring a friend for that special Christmas present!

Session 1: Lunch is at 1pm and the session starts at 2pm and finishes at around 3.30pm. The bar will be open for something stronger should you fancy something stronger! Lunch is a delicious winter spiced parsnip soup with curried cauliflower florets and served with crusty bread. Or you can order from our lunch menu with a £5 discount.

Session 2: We start at 7pm and finish at around 9.30pm. The price includes delicious canapes served in the first hour of you wreath making and either a glass of prosecco or a premium soft drink from the bar. The bar will be open all evening.

The price for each session including everything you need to make your own wreath is £65.
