Today’s official rules:

Rule 1: No one is allowed to say "Hot enough for you?" or anything similar, you will get demoted to the back of the queue and we will sq**rt vinegar in your eyes.

Rule 2: Anyone who buys the staff a drink, slush or an ice cream automatically skips to the front of the queue and we won’t sq**rt vinegar in your eyes.

Rule 3: Please state your order clearly and quickly. Nobody has the patience or the brain capacity in this heat. If you take too long we will sq**rt vinegar in your eyes.

We don’t make the rules, we just enforce them.

My darling BREE

It’s taken me a few days to find the right words, as I’ve been left completely speechless & heartbroken ❤️

Today we want to show appreciation for one of the greatest fryers to ever stand behind our counter.

From the very first day we opened the doors to our newly refurbished shop, you stood by our side. Day in, day out, you came to work and gave absolutely everything. The business we have today is built on the standards, hard work, and dedication you brought with you every single day.

In 30 years working in the fish & chip industry, I can honestly say your work was beyond outstanding. Everything you did, you did with complete dedication — work, family, friends, and enjoying life to the fullest.

I truly don’t think I’ll ever meet another person who could fry like you… not even me.

You are going to be deeply missed, and you’ve left a huge hole in so many people’s hearts 💔
