Tomorrow we will be celebrating one of the UK’s most loved traditions – National Fish & Chip Day! 🇬🇧🐟🍟

National Fish & Chip Day is a massive annual celebration dedicated to honouring the UK’s favourite dish. Traditionally held on the first Friday in June, it brings together fishers, farmers, suppliers, and local chippies across the country to celebrate this iconic British staple.

At Fishnchips@bryncae, we’re proud to be part of a tradition that has brought communities together for generations. Thank you to our amazing customers for your continued support – we couldn’t do it without you!

It’s taken me a few days to find the right words, as I’ve been left completely speechless & heartbroken ❤️

Today we want to show appreciation for one of the greatest fryers to ever stand behind our counter.

From the very first day we opened the doors to our newly refurbished shop, you stood by our side. Day in, day out, you came to work and gave absolutely everything. The business we have today is built on the standards, hard work, and dedication you brought with you every single day.

In 30 years working in the fish & chip industry, I can honestly say your work was beyond outstanding. Everything you did, you did with complete dedication — work, family, friends, and enjoying life to the fullest.

I truly don’t think I’ll ever meet another person who could fry like you… not even me.

You are going to be deeply missed, and you’ve left a huge hole in so many people’s hearts 💔
