A proper tapas spread feels somewhat incomplete without a nod to the rich culinary history of Galicia. Our Pulpo a la Gallega remains one of the most loved dishes on our menu for very good reason.

The contrast between the soft, perfectly seasoned potatoes and the tender, smoked-paprika-dusted octopus creates a bite that is simultaneously light and rich. Simple, authentic, and cooked with genuine respect for traditional Spanish methods, it brings a genuine slice of northern Spain straight to South Wales.

From Sunday, 9th August, we’re proud to launch our brand-new Traditional Sunday Roast and we truly believe it’s something special every Sunday.

Think perfectly roasted meats, homemade Yorkshire puddings, seasonal vegetables, crispy roast potatoes, and the richest, most delicious gravy we’ve ever tasted.

To make this possible, we’re delighted to welcome Chef Mark to the Gin & Sangria family. With years of experience crafting exceptional Sunday roasts in Scotland, Chef Mark brings his passion, creativity, and expertise to deliver an unforgettable roast experience here in Wales.

Joining him is our talented Chef Ron, whose delicious pastries and desserts have already become favourites among our guests. Together, their combined skills in making a Sunday Roast dinner and their dedication to create the perfect partnership, making Sundays at Gin & Sangria a truly special dining experience.

A huge thank you to one of our wonderful regular clients, Nicola for suggesting we introduce Sunday roasts since last year. We listened, and we’ve gone one step further by bringing in another talented chef to expand the delicious choices we offer at our restaurant.

What a fantastic day today at Gin&Sangria. We were fully booked indoor and our outdoor area with quick table turnarounds throughout the day, and our amazing team worked tirelessly to prepare each table for the next group. A huge thank you to our incredible staff for their hard work and dedication. Our talented singer also created an amazing atmosphere that everyone enjoyed from start to finish.

A very special thank you to the Respiratory Ward team at the Princess of Wales Hospital, NHS, for choosing us to host Nurse Cher's retirement celebration. It was an honour to serve you all, and we truly appreciate the trust you continue to place in us. Thank you Ms. Ginny for organising this for your ward. We enjoyed working with you all throughout.

We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support from the NHS Princess of Wales as our client. Over the last two years, we've had the pleasure of hosting your study days, evening meals, private celebrations, and buffet-style events, alongside many of our other valued corporate clients in Wales.

As an added bonus, we were also delighted to celebrate the second anniversary of Gin & Sangria on such a special day. Happy 2nd anniversary to us today.

Also celebrated another private party at our Sangria Terrace for Rafael’s birthday today.
