Some of you may be aware that I currently work 5 days a week with my little boy on my hip, strapped to my chest or in his pram to nap with the very incredible help of my mum ❤️
When he was a tiny little sproglet, this was somewhat sustainable - however, the bigger he gets, the more his wonderfully curious little mind wants to explore and the more I resent not being able to spend actual, meaningful time with him on outdoor adventures, visiting family and friends and allowing him more freedom to crawl around, eat dirt and smother himself in food!
It's taking a toll physically and mentally, so with that in mind - I will be rebranding the company in a manner which allows this time and freedom, while also continuing to serve my wonderful community and incredible customers.
It'll actually be a little more 'me', which excites me!
From April 1st 2024 - the shop will have a new vegetarian menu consisting of, smaller dishes, made to order sandwiches, jacket potatoes, homemade soups etc.
We will continue with our fantastic range of cakes from and will have more drinks available.
We will have a plethora of books and boardgames for sale, along with plenty of free to use boardgames to play within the market while enjoying a cuppa and a cake (Or to distract your sproglets while you relax).
We will be open from 9am to 3pm Tuesday to Saturday. So do pop by for breakfast from April ❤️
I've always had a vision of this space being a fantastic reading nook, filled with boardgames, friendly faces and eventually a place to host book and poetry readings, open mic spoken word and comedy snippets. So this is what I aim for it to live up to one day. For now, we start smaller and aspire to achieve this!
