The Allanwater Cafe Family run Cafe and Chip Shop Est 1902. Famous for our delicious fish and chips & our home-made ice- The Allanwater Cafe has been in the same family since 1902.

It produces some of the finest fish and chips in Scotland, we only use the best of ingredients to achieve such a high standard. We also produce our own ice cream using a secret family recipe which has been handed down through the generations, a real treat to round off a day in Bridge of Allan the only decision to make is....which flavour? look forward to seeing you soon

UPDATE - NO GLUTEN FREE BATTER 22/5/2026

OUR FAULT is still not fixed we are very sorry to say! The new part has not arrived with our engineer!

We are so so sorry to our GF loyal customers for this disappointing news☹️

Due to a fault with the oil filtration system in our frying range we’re unfortunately unable to offer gluten-free batter this Wednesday (15 April).

We’re working to get this resolved as quickly as possible and hope to have it back very soon.
