Jax was 9 days old in this photo and looking back I was not in a good place.

Recently I’ve read that a well known shop in Brentwood high-street asked a mother to move on from breast feeding in public and to go into the toilets. Even offered to show her where the toilets were 😡

I’m so angry that this has happened to a new mum. It’s not easy breast feeding , it’s not always comfortable to sit there and feed your baby on your own.

I won’t name the shop but please DO BETTER! it’s also a mothers right to feed her baby in public so no one should be telling you you can’t!!

Merrymeade Tea Rooms will always welcome new mums and NEVER make you feel uncomfortable to feed your baby in public. If anyone has a problem we will deal with them NOT ask you to move.

Keep going mummas , you’ve got this 💪🏼 🫶🏽❤️

Breast Friends Brentwood is also an amazing group and helped me on my breastfeeding journey 🫶🏽

We have an allotment patch! 🥳

As of today we have just signed up to rent an allotment patch, our aim is to start growing our own fruit and veg to use in the tea rooms for 2027 🤞🏼

With no gardening experience and not much free time on our hands I’m not sure how successful we will be but we want to give it a go!!
