Our August bank holiday beer festival of the year is just a couple of weeks away!

For you lucky lot who live nearby, here’s the timetable for our free minibus to/from Horsmonden and Paddock Wood.

🚌 MINIBUS

We’ll be running our free 19-seater shuttle between Horsmonden, Paddock Wood and The Halfway House on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Seats still aren’t guaranteed but we’ve allowed time between trips to circle back if needed. The ride is completely free, although our lovely driver won’t say no to a tip ☺️

🚗 DRIVING
As seasoned festival goers will know, we have limited parking in the main car park and field opposite which fills up pretty quickly. If you can, please carpool and park considerately when you arrive, (without blocking anyone in) 😉 There’s also public parking opposite the primary school in Brenchley if you don’t mind a short stroll.

🚶‍♀️ WALKING
If you can walk, even better! There are some lovely routes from Brenchley via the churchyard and quiet back lanes. You’ll pop out on Short Lane, right next to the pub.

Just a couple more Friday evenings of live music in the garden before we wrap things up at our beer festival on the 28th!

Tomorrow, Debbie Perolls will be joining us from 6.30pm. Grab a drink, find a spot in the garden and make the most of it while it lasts 🍻

August Bank Holiday is nearly here, which means one of our favourite weekends of the year isn't far away.

Four days of live music, with a brilliant mix of artists and genres throughout the weekend, plus proper pints, great food and the garden doing what it does best.

No tickets, no booking, just turn up and join the fun.

Sounds like a good plan to us! 🍻

Charlie Barnett will be playing live in the garden tomorrow from 6.30pm, making it the perfect excuse to head to the pub after work.

It's the one you've been waiting for.. It's Hoedown day! 🤠🍻

A few quick reminders...

🌵 Garden entry opens at 12pm for ticket holders (please don't arrive before as we won't be able to admit anyone)
🌵 A limited number of tickets will be available on the gate from 1pm
🌵 Keep your confirmation email handy for the door
🌵 Feel free to bring a camping chair or picnic blanket if you'd like to grab a spot in the garden
🌵 Our free minibus will be running throughout the day (check our previous post for the timetable)
🌵 Our card machines can slow down when we're really busy, so if you can bring some cash too, we'd really appreciate it

And if you've got a cowboy hat hiding somewhere, today feels like a good excuse to wear it 😉

If you're driving, we'd really appreciate it if you could car share where possible to help us make the most of our parking. If our main and overflow car parks fill up, don't worry, we've even got an overflow overflow car park. Just take care driving over as it's up a fairly steep hill!

🤠 Just a few bits of information ahead of tomorrow’s Hoedown…

Firstly, thank you to everyone who has bought tickets. We genuinely can’t believe the response, and we’re looking forward to seeing you all.

If you already have a ticket, you’ll be able to enter the garden from 12pm.

For anyone who hasn’t got a ticket, we’ll have a limited number available on the gate from 1pm when the event officially starts.

Please don’t panic if you haven’t booked. We’ll do everything we can to accommodate everyone and will only stop admitting people if we genuinely reach a point where we have to.

One final thing - nobody will be able to enter the garden before 12pm, so please don’t arrive too early.

We can’t wait to welcome you all for what promises to be a fantastic day!
