What happens in Vegas… definitely deserves to be talked about in Wales!
On 26th July, The Village Hotel Swansea was transformed into a dazzling slice of the Las Vegas Strip as guests gathered for the Best of Welsh Food & Hospitality Awards 2026. With neon lights, casino-inspired décor, incredible entertainment and an atmosphere buzzing from start to finish, it was an evening dedicated to celebrating the outstanding businesses that make Wales one of the UK’s finest food and hospitality destinations.
From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this wasn’t going to be just another awards ceremony. Finalists, sponsors and supporters embraced the Vegas theme, dressing to impress and creating a fantastic atmosphere filled with laughter, celebration and unforgettable moments.
The evening showcased the incredible talent within the Welsh hospitality industry, recognising businesses that continue to raise the bar through exceptional food, outstanding customer service and unwavering dedication to their communities. Every award presented represented countless hours of hard work, passion and commitment from businesses across Wales.
Entertainment kept the celebrations flowing throughout the night. Guests were treated to stunning live performances from the incredible Lynsey Pugh, whose powerful vocals had the room singing along, while Lance Bowen amazed everyone with his jaw-dropping close-up magic, leaving tables wondering just how he managed to perform the impossible. The fun continued with Fiona Louise Photobooth, where guests captured memories with friends and colleagues, ensuring there were plenty of smiles long after the evening had finished.
Of course, no Best of Welsh event would be complete without emotional winner announcements, standing ovations and plenty of happy tears. Winners proudly collected their trophies as colleagues, friends and family celebrated every success, creating the kind of memories that remind us why these awards matter so much.
