We’re in Wednesday to Saturday,
10.00am – 3.00pm,
with the soup bubbling away, the bakes fresh from the oven, and the kettle never far off a boil.
You’ll find us tucked into the old railway station, where the walls have heard more stories than we’ve had cups of tea — and that’s saying something.

If you’re needing a wee breather, a warm bite, or just a friendly face, come on in.

Cyclists, you’re very welcome at The Whistle Stop this weekend 🚴‍♀️💛

If you’re doing Ride the North, we’ve plenty of room to store your bikes while you pop in for a cuppa, a bite to eat, or a wee rest.

Just a quick note — it’s Thomas the Tank Engine Weekend at the Caledonian Railway 🚂
So please enter through The Whistle Stop front door, not the main station entrance, as the railway area will be busy with excited little engines and their fans.

We’ve a new member of staff at The Whistle Stop… and he’s a bit of a character.
Mr Whistle, the train driver himself 🚂, is helping out for a wee while — keeping an eye on the cakes, the coffees, and anyone who looks like they might be up to mischief.

Pop down to The Whistle Stop and the Caledonian Railway in Brechin to see if you can spot him.
He’s fast… but not faster than a good cuppa and a slice of home baking.
