From pulling up his freshly planted cabbages to taking apart his thatched roof one piece at a time, Bob certainly knew how to make himself known around Brechfa.

And his antics didn’t stop there...

BOB — THE RAVEN OF BRECHFA

PART TWO — BOB vs. THE PARSON

Bob may have enjoyed his games with the children of Brechfa, but according to the story recorded in 1933, there was one man he didn't particularly like...

The local parson.

When the parson planted cabbages in his garden, Bob would watch and wait.

As soon as the parson was out of sight, Bob would swoop down, pull the newly planted cabbages from the earth and scatter them across the garden path.

And apparently, ruining his cabbages wasn't enough.

Bob once decided the parson didn't deserve a roof over his head either and began removing the straw from his thatched roof — one piece at a time.

But there was one part of the parson's house Bob was careful not to damage...

We'll save that little story for another day.
