We will be closing at 5pm on Tuesday 1st September for our end-of-season staff party 🎉🥳

After a busy season, we want to take the opportunity to celebrate and, most importantly, thank our amazing team for all their hard work, dedication and commitment throughout the season. ❤️

We’re incredibly grateful for everything our staff do to keep things running and to look after our customers so well.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the early closure and really appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Please note: We will also be opening one hour later than usual at 9:30am on Wednesday 2nd September.

We’re open every day from 8:30am–6:30pm, whether you’re walking the dog, surfing, sea swimming or enjoying a family beach day.

It's been dry for a long time now. Large parts of the UK and Europe are dealing with huge wild fires. Before lighting a fire or BBQ think about your surroundings. Don't throw cigarette butts on the ground and glass bottles can start fires too! Even when it's not dry as a bone please no BBQs or fires on the burrows or in the car park! Thanks ☺️

☀️ Heatwave Update ☀️

With the heatwave set to peak tomorrow, we have made the decision to temporarily not serve hot food, with the exception of our delicious pasties and sausage rolls.

To ensure the wellbeing of our team during the extreme temperatures, we are making sure all staff have plenty of hydration breaks throughout the day while continuing to provide the best service possible.

We still have plenty of tasty options available, including:
🥪 Freshly fill rolls
🥗 Salads
🍰 Homemade cakes and sweet treats
🍦 Ice creams
🥤 Cold drinks
☕ Teas and coffees

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to welcoming you and helping you stay cool with some of our summer favourites. Don’t forget that we have inside seating (no air con I’m afraid) if you need to escape the sun.

To coincide with today’s beach clean, we wanted to share one of the ways we reuse and recycle here at the café.

We collect our empty cartons and turn them into drink holders, which can either be returned to us for reuse or placed in our recycling bins when no longer needed.

If you’d rather avoid a takeaway cup altogether, you’re welcome to enjoy your drink in one of our mugs while sitting inside or at our outdoor benches. You can also bring your own reusable cup, and we’ll happily fill it for you.

Every small choice helps reduce waste and protect our local environment.
