The garden nursery is looking full of colour 🌸 So why not pop in for a delicious slice of cake accompanied by a nice iced drink in this weather! ☀️ Finish it off with a cooling stroll in the beautiful woodland walk. 🌷🪻🌸🌻

We will be running a cold menu, alongside our normal hot food menu tomorrow ( Wednesday) until 1pm. After 1pm it will be cold food only. On Thursday there will be sausage and bacon sandwiches until 10.30 am, then NO hot food for the rest of the day, but plenty of extra options on the cold menu. Thanks for your understanding.

POSSIBLE MENU CHANGE

Our kitchen is significantly smaller than most residential kitchens, and unlike many larger premises, we do not have the benefit of air conditioning. We rely on ventilation from a small window, which is insufficient in keeping the kitchen at a safe and manageable temperature in extreme heat.

If the heat feels unbearable outside of the kitchen, we kindly ask people to consider how difficult the conditions become inside a compact working kitchen, surrounded by cooking equipment.

As a result, the working environment becomes extremely challenging, and the wellbeing and safety of our staff must always come first. With this in mind., we are introducing a cold food menu for extreme weather days to save our team the added stress of cooking in the heat. This MAY mean we will STOP serving hot food all together on certain days, to keep our team safe.

Don't forget, we serve many cold drinks including smoothies, milkshakes and iced coffees.

We realise this may be disappointing, and we thank you for your understanding, as we do our best during these challenging conditions.

If you want to treat your loved one on Father's Day, we are fully booked for reserved tables, but still have tables available on a first come, first served basis. Our full English is served until midday and the remainder of our menu until 2pm.

Beautiful flowers are surrounding our outside courtyard, so an ideal place to enjoy a yummy treat in the sunshine! 🌸 Being situated in the grounds of MacPennys plant nursery, it's the perfect place to stop for a cup of tea and wander round the plants 🌻
