Tillys are recruiting!

We are looking for a passionate, hardworking member to join our team here at Tillys cafe & Bistro.

Required to be flexible, hours 8:30- 5:30, 5 days a week including weekends and be happy to pick up and cover when necessary.
Experience desirable but not essential as training will be given. Must be willing to work as part of a small team, and be reliable due to the small team. Attention to detail is a must, along with excellent time keeping and organisational skills. We would be willing to put the right applicant through all the relevant training qualifications eg food hygiene, allergen awareness after your probationary period.

Your responsibilities will include: Daily cafe running, waitressing, washing up, stock rotation, customer service, light kitchen duties, cleaning and stock maintenance.

Must be over 21 years of age due to licensing.

Good afternoon to all our amazing customers.
We are very sorry to do this and it’s not something we ever thought we would have to do but due to the amount of customers that have walked out recently without paying we will now be taking payment at the point of ordering.

We will still be table service but when you’ve placed your order unfortunately you will have to pay at that point not after due to the recent activity of some people.

Small businesses are struggling at the moment without the added pressure of wondering if people are going to pay.

Again we are sorry to do this but we hope you all understand our reasoning.

Tillys are looking for experienced kitchen staff to join the team. This will be for 5 days a week 8am-5pm. Permanent position

Must have previous kitchen experience. This position is available due to being let down and also a member of staff leaving due to no fault of their own.

Starters :
- Beetroot and goats cheese salad on a bed of rocket, topped with honey and walnuts.
- Prawn Cocktail with lime and paprika.
- Cheesy garlic mushrooms on focaccia.
Mains :
- Venison sausages with mash, mixed veg and topped with red w**e jus and horseradish.
- Sea-bass on creamy potato gnocchi and a side of pea and tarragon sauce.
- Vegetarian wellington with a side of spring onion mash and mixed veg.
- Hunters chicken with chips, slaw and mixed veg.
- Belly pork slices with gratin potatoes, creamy cabbage and mixed veg.
