Our snowflake fundraiser is officially processed ❤️

Darts knockout date is still to be confirmed.

Children’s Halloween party is Saturday 31st October 4pm-6pm
Entry will be £5 per child, all proceeds will go to the fundraiser.
We will provide a buffet, disco and Halloween goodie bag for every child.
If you’re child has any dietary requirements please could you let me know before hand so I can ensure they are catered for.
It would be helpful if you let me know if you wish to attend so I can ensure I’ve got enough goodie bags made up 😊 (will have spares just incase)

Let’s get George’s name in lights, he is a true star and inspiration 💕

Another fabulous carnival day in the village yesterday. Beautiful weather, 4 amazing Wells, lots of visitors and so many great floats?
How lucky are we to have a group of dedicated villagers prepared to work their socks off to make it such a success.
So thank you all - not naming names doesn’t mean we don’t know who you are, you are just too numerous to mention individually!!
Long may wakes and welldressing continue in our little village!
It was mayhem as always by the time revellers reached the Shoulder last night after a full day of celebrations but nothing we aren’t used too!!
Today we are welcoming 80 plus (slightly more sedate) visitors for Gala Roast, Quiz and Bingo tonight then off we go into the week!!
Join us for dinner tomorrow served 6 until 8pm, the ever popular Family bingo on Tuesday (no child ever goes home without a prize!) which starts at 6.30pm and our free to enter Open Pool competition on Thursday with a £50/£25 prize pot!
I just love our little pub, it’s incredibly hard working staff and all the wonderful friends and customers who share it with us!! Thank you one and all. 💕💕

Upcoming fundraising events:

As many of you may know, we have an amazing little boy in our community named George (Emily Creswick David Creswick).
George has been receiving treatment at Sheffields Children’s Hospital.
Last year, our darts knockout raised £2000 for the hospitals charity.
We would like to do some more fundraising to get George’s name on a snowflake outside the hospital over Christmas.
We need to raise a minimum of £1250 (all proceeds go to the hospital).
To do this, we plan on doing another Darts knockout at the End of September followed by a children’s Halloween Party on 31st October!

More details will be announced over the next few weeks!
