New Vision Bradford's Concerned Other service offers dedicated support for family members, friends and loved ones affected by someone's substance use.

Our Concerned Other Workers, are running a support group on Tuesday 21st April at Flourish Community Coffee Shop for anyone who is supporting someone struggling with

The group will offer a safe, non-judgemental space for you to speak to others in a similar situation, receive support and advice from the team, and find out about how New Vision Bradford can help you and your loved one.

❄️Help for homeless people during cold weather❄️

If you or someone you know is homeless please know - Bradford Council and partners run a Cold Weather service that gives emergency shelter to people sleeping rough when temperatures drop to freezing or below.

Referrals to the service are made in person by approaching the Day Shelter, 371 Leeds Road, Bradford, BD3 9NG during week days, or Discovery House on weekends. On weekends and bank holidays, referrals can be made over the phone on 01274 309165.

Cold weather emergency accommodation provision is open. Here's how to access it.

UPDATE: If you are rough sleeping and need to access the Cold Weather Provision, please report to Salvation Army Day Shelter 371 Leeds Road, Bradford, BD3 9NG in person, 9am-4pm Mon-Fri.

Staff will carry out an assessment and try to find a suitable bed space for the night.

Our advice would be to get there as soon as possible - ideally before 3pm.

❄️⚠️ With the weather reaching sub-zero temperatures this week, shelter for rough sleepers across the district will be available tonight as part of the Bradford Council's Cold Weather Provision.

Our Rough Sleeper team is out all year-round offering support anyone who is rough sleeping and using alcohol or drugs. We work with individuals for as long as it takes for them to access the relevant support and accommodation.

Today, we will be working with partners to signpost and support people into emergency accommodation, ensuring that no one has to sleep out in the cold.
