Forks Cafe

Forks Cafe A social enterprise in Bradford's Indie Quarter offering amazing food, great coffee & accredited training for those in recovery from substance misuse.

Forks is Bradford’s latest café venue, opening October 2014. First and foremost we provide gorgeous food and superb service offering a fabulous menu of freshly prepared cakes, meals, sandwiches and snacks. Also on offer; a great range of coffees, teas and soft drinks to enjoy in our relaxing environment or take away to enjoy on the go! But Forks is also a social enterprise, providing aspirational

work experience and training through our Academy for people who have recovered from alcohol or drug problems. Our goal is to offer a future to people who want a hand up, not a hand out by ensuring that we give them the best quality skills and experience to find sustainable employment in the future. At Forks, we believe in offering more than just outstanding food and service. We want to create an inspirational space where people meet, socialise and experience the satisfaction of giving hope and opportunity to trainees working to achieve self sufficiency. Forks is owned by the Bridge Project, Bradford’s leading charity providing support to individuals, families and children suffering from the consequences of drug or alcohol dependence. And what’s more... all our profits go directly back into the community to fund this ongoing support and to help many more people make a positive choice when they reach a difficult fork in the road. www.bridge-bradford.org.uk
